oh yay. time for another great post.
well. i read last night. i almost forgot to read, because I got home from babysitting around 11 and those kids tired me out, so i was definately ready for bed. but then i saw my twilight book looking very lonely, laying on my floor, next to my bed, with my yellow bookmark sticking out from about the middle of the book. i figured i wouldn't have any time to read the next day..[sunday] because of Let's Celebrate.. and i would never want to disappoint mr. strusz, or my dedicated readers, so i read. it was 11:11 when i started, [[ha.. cool, right?]] and about 12:30 when i stopped. so.. about an hour of reading. I read about Bella and Edward. Go figure. You can totally tell they're falling in love with each other and other people are starting to take notice, as well. Nothing too exciting happened in this part of the book, so hopefully my next post will be more exciting. oh man. can't wait.

okay. so this one time.. after jessie and I were done taking some sweet pics with the bball boys before their game, 'tyla weeeeest' was walkin around by the trainers table. we made up the 'tyla dance'. he thought we were crazy. [which we kind of were that night] anyways. it was halarious. we can show you sometime if you would like. you will laugh.

I've kinda been slacking on my reading lately, but since my last post I did read the next 4 chapters of Twilight. The last part I read was about when Edward rescued Bella from the gang after she went shopping with her friends. Bella has figured out a lot more about who Edward really is.
During this reading I read the words that are also on the back cover of the book:
"About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him--
& I didn't know how dominant that part might be--
that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably
in love with him."
This basically sums up what Bella knows so far about Edward. They've become very good friends. I'm guessing that the more their friendship grows, the more interesting this book will get. Bella will eventually have to make some difficult choices about being friends with Edward. Can't wait till I find out what her decision will be.

Okay.
To be perfectly honest, I cannot remember the last time I picked up a book to read "just for fun". In the past my mom has greatly encouraged me to read, but I chose otherwise. So, when my good ol' friend Mr. Strusz told us that we were going to have to do a little independent reading, I didn't exactly know where to start. It seemed like for the past couple weeks, everywhere I would go there would be someone talking about TWILIGHT in one form or another. I havn't heard many negative comments at all about this series. Usually when someone is describing it, they use the words 'amazing' or 'awesome'. I decided to conform and join the rest that have already read the books in this series. From what I hear, they sound pretty interesting. So now, I'm going to find out for myself. So far I have read the first 5 chapters of Twilight. I intend on reading some more tonight before I go to sleep. This book is already grabbing my attention. It feels almost not right for me to be getting this worked up over a book. But, maybe this is a good thing. My mom always said that I should read more...
