Okay.To be perfectly honest, I cannot remember the last time I picked up a book to read "just for fun". In the past my mom has greatly encouraged me to read, but I chose otherwise. So, when my good ol' friend Mr. Strusz told us that we were going to have to do a little independent reading, I didn't exactly know where to start. It seemed like for the past couple weeks, everywhere I would go there would be someone talking about TWILIGHT in one form or another. I havn't heard many negative comments at all about this series. Usually when someone is describing it, they use the words 'amazing' or 'awesome'. I decided to conform and join the rest that have already read the books in this series. From what I hear, they sound pretty interesting. So now, I'm going to find out for myself. So far I have read the first 5 chapters of Twilight. I intend on reading some more tonight before I go to sleep. This book is already grabbing my attention. It feels almost not right for me to be getting this worked up over a book. But, maybe this is a good thing. My mom always said that I should read more...
